The Perfect Mint Julep

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Kentucky Bourbon
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • KY Colonel mint or other mint
  • Crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Brush mint leaves in julep cup and discard.

  2. Fill cup with ice, add ¾ oz simple syrup and 1.5 oz bourbon. 

  3. Stir until cup frosts. 

  4. Slap mint and insert. 

  5. Add straw and serve.
