Bluegrass Tourism Marketing Assoc monthly meeting – Bourbon 101

February 5, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

We get hundreds of thousands of visitors every year from all over the world that come to the Bluegrass for one reason: BOURBON. You probably know the basic FAQs about bourbon but have you ever wanted to know a little more? What about discerning those subtleties between the various bourbons?

Join us on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at The Kentucky Castle for a basic Bourbon sensory training with Tim Knittel. You could call it Bourbon 101!

You see, Tim is a professional Bourbon educator with over a decade of experience. He is a former Bourbon industry insider as VIP hospitality manager at the Woodford Reserve Distillery. He holds the title of Executive Bourbon Steward, reviews whiskeys for the Tasting Table at Distiller.com and writes for Distiller.com, Artisan Spirit Magazine and other industry publications. He also teaches as Adjunct Professor of Bourbon Studies at Midway University.

For all your bourbon fans out there, this is definitely a BTMA meeting you won’t want to miss!

Event Fees:
• Monthly Meeting (Member) $ 26.00
• Pre-Paid: I pre-paid for my lunches at the beginning of the year. $ 0.00
• Monthly Meeting (Non-Member) $ 50.00
