Discover everything you wanted to know about Bourbon! Whiskey Bear will be hosting Tim Knittel – Executive Bourbon Steward and Adjunct Professor of Bourbon Studies for a special Bourbon 101 tasting. We’ll talk about how bourbon is made, what makes it different than other spirits and other whiskeys, plus you’ll learn how an industry professional tastes and evaluates bourbon.

Tim Knittel is a professional bourbon educator with almost a decade of experience. He is a former bourbon industry insider as the Culinary Center General Manager and Homeplace Host at the Woodford Reserve Distillery. He holds the title of Executive Bourbon Steward through the Stave & Thief Society which is currently the highest certification available for a bourbon education professional. He sits on the Tasting Table at Distiller.com and writes for Distiller.com, Artisan Spirit Magazine and other industry publications and is Adjunct Professor of Bourbon Studies and Tourism & Event Management at Midway University.
