Pre-Prohibition Bourbon & Rye Cocktails Class • Brontë Bistro at Joseph-Beth
March 22, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm$30
In the golden age of cocktails prior to Prohibition, bourbon and rye whiskeys held a special place as the sweet yet spicy bases for whole categories of cocktails.
In this class, bourbon educator Tim Knittel and Brontë Bistro’s assistant general manager Katie Silver will introduce you to four classic cocktails:
• Whiskey Sour
• Ward Eight
The class will begin with a comparison tasting of young vs mature bourbon and rye whiskeys. Then you’ll learn the proper techniques for constructing whiskey-based cocktails and will have an opportunity to try your hand and make one for yourself right at your table.
Seating is limited!
