“A Taste of Grace” is an annual fundraiser aimed at developing grace in the Lexington community through fundraising initiatives. Now in its eighth year, the event has raised over $100,000 for select non-profits.
Money raised through the event’s ticket sales, auction purchases and our famous “Wall of Wine” is donated to a different charity each year.
This year our featured recipient charity is Partners for Youth. Partners for Youth works to empower the community to support our most vulnerable and valuable youth in Lexington. Their mission is“to promote positive youth development and to prevent juvenile delinquency through collaboration and capacity building.”
Please learn more about them at their website: http://partners4youth.org/
This year’s event will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar (beer and wine), music by TDH4-The Kentucky Folk Quartet, live and silent auction and the ever-popular “Wall of Wine!”
New this year is a signature auction item: Basque & Bourbon Dinner for 10. Featuring a special Basque-inspired menu by Outside the Box catering with bourbon and bourbon craft cocktail pairing provided by Distilled Living, and hosted at the home of Scott Gralheer & Don DeLuca.
Executive Bourbon Steward Tim Knittel of Distilled Living will be pouring a selection of unusual and rare bourbons, including a special bottle from his private collection which is one of only sixty-one made (and probably the only one left).
Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door.
“Wall of Wine” tickets are $25 each.
Ample parking is available at The Cathedral of Christ the King or on nearby residential streets.
To purchase tickets, make donation for the auction or Wall of Wine or for more information, please contact Scott Gralheer or Don DeLuca, 859-273- 5077, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com Tickets are also available at Cork & Barrel on Nicholasville Road (cash/check only.)
