Wine Drinker’s Guide to Drinking Bourbon

January 12, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

We know you know how to drink wine! After another successful year of hosting sold-out wine tastings, Cork & Barrel is introducing a Bourbon class specific for wine drinkers.

Yes, you know how to nose, swish, swirl, gargle, swallow and evaluate wine … but did you know there are entirely different techniques to tasting Bourbon?

Tim Knittel of Distilled Living will guide you through the tasting techniques used by professional bourbon tasters so you get past “the burn” and get to the complex flavors of Kentucky’s native libation. (There’s a technique to it – trust us!)

We’ll be tasting through two flights which include a wine, a bourbon and a wine-bourbon hybrid spirit with an accompanying appetizer plate.

If you’re into wine and want to get into Bourbon – this is the class for you!
