The Mint Julep has a refreshing and complex flavor profile that combines the coolness of mint with the depth of bourbon. Most people have not had a good Mint Julep however since many of the syrups available on the market end up tasting like toothpaste or chewing gum and many bartenders mash the mint to a pulp which brings out too much of the tannic flavors.

We tested a LOT of Mint & this is the closest to fresh QUALITY Mint Julep we’ve found !
We actually enjoy drinking this Derby classic! It’s a fast drink intended to be consumed during the most exciting 2 minutes in sports!

Kit includes:

  • Cheeky Mint Syrup
  • Japanese Jigger
  • 4 stainless steel cocktail straws

Guests bring:

  • 1 rocks glass per person (or julep cup)
  • Ice

Ingredients

  • Ice crushed preferred but not required
  • ½ oz Syrup
  • 1.5 oz Bourbon

Instructions

  • Add to glass: ½ oz Syrup
  • 1.5 oz Bourbon
  • Ice (crushed preferred but not required) to fill
  • Stir & Enjoy!
