This cocktail is a vibrant mix of sweet, sour, and bitter flavors, with grapefruit adding citrusy sweetness and the touch of bitterness, which is offset by tart lime.

Kit includes:

  • 1 Jigger
  • 1 Metal Stir Stick
  • Aromatic Scrappy’s bitters
  • Gourmet Apple Pie Sugar

Guests bring:

  • 1 rocks glass per person for the Old Fashioned OR 1 mug for the Hot Toddy
  • Water
  • ice OR hot water

Apple Cider Old Fashioned OR Hot Toddy

Ingredients

  • 2-3 spoonfuls of apple pie sugar
  • 1 oz water
  • 1.5-2 oz bourbon OR tequila
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • Ice if Old Fashioned, hot water if toddy

Instructions

  • Add 2-3 Tablespoons Apple Pie sugar to your glass or mug
  • add 1 oz Water and stir sugar until dissolved
  • add 1.5-2 oz Bourbon (or Tequila) and stir
  • add 2 dashes chocolate bitters and stir (one dropper if using a dropper bottle)
  • Add Ice if Old Fashioned OR top with hot water if you're making a hot toddy
