We’re proud to share some exciting news: our founder, Tim Knittel, has been named General Manager of Oxmoor Bourbon Company as it enters its second year of operations.
Located on the historic grounds of Oxmoor Farm in Louisville, Oxmoor has already made an impression on Kentucky’s bourbon landscape. Now, with a year of momentum behind it, the company is entering a new chapter — and Tim has been brought on to help shape its next phase of growth. Drawing on decades of industry experience, he’ll be leading strategic development, refining operations, and expanding Oxmoor’s role in the broader bourbon community.
But rest assured: Distilled Living remains fully in motion.
This new position strengthens Tim’s impact on the industry while reinforcing the mission of Distilled Living. Tim continues to lead and support the work of Distilled Living. Our team of Executive Bourbon Stewards remains active, and we’re still booking private tastings, corporate events, and bourbon experiences across the region.
Tim’s involvement with Oxmoor Bourbon Company complements the mission of Distilled Living — advancing the culture, craft, and community of bourbon. It’s another way we’re deepening our ties to the industry while staying committed to the clients, partners, and bourbon lovers we serve every day.
