Nose: Sweet and creamy with golden fruit, caramel, brittle toffee and whipped cream
Palate & Finish: Complex sweet with maple syrup, burnt sugar, dried stone fruits and a very slight vegetal
Recommend neat
Hilary Baumann’s tasting notes:
Nose: waffles with syrup (so much syrup) and a good bit of milkshake vanilla.
Palate: warm sugar, a bit of leather, a lot less complex for me but lasting and finishing in a dry, dusty aged quality.
Also recommended neat because complexity diminishes with water to just a sweet bourbon.
