Red Hot (& Spicy) Bourbon Cocktail
Combine in shaker:
⢠hard ice
⢠dash Angostura (more complex) or vanilla extract (more candy like)
⢠1/2 t crushed red chili flakes
⢠1/4 t ground cinnamon
⢠1/4 oz simple syrup
⢠2 oz Bourbon (we recommend a wheated like Maker’s Mark)
Hawthorne + fine mesh strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Optional cinnamon stick garnish.
Mocktail version: substitute Bourbon with 2 oz Elmwood Inn Kentucky Blend tea, brewed and chilled.
